If you’re trying to lose weight or simply keep track of your health, it can quickly turn into a mix of scribbled notes, different apps, and confusing charts that don’t really show your progress clearly.
That’s why I’ve created a simple Weight Tracker in Google Sheets that works for both kg and lbs — keeping everything in one place so you can actually see your progress over time without the stress.
It’s designed to be clean, easy to use, and flexible. Whether you prefer metric or imperial, you choose your unit at the start and the tracker adjusts around that. No switching back and forth, no confusion — just your journey in one simple setup.
This weight tracker is also completely standalone. You don’t need to use the extra sheets if you don’t want to. Optional sections like the water tracker, aspirations, reflections, and habit tracker are included for anyone who enjoys a broader wellness view — but they can be deleted if you prefer to keep things simple and focus only on weight tracking.
Features
It includes:
- Progress Dashboard & Overview – See your weight trend, target, and progress at a glance
- Target vs Actual Weight Chart – Clear visual tracking of where you are versus where you want to be
- Supports kg and lbs – Choose your preferred unit at the start and stick with it
- BMI Tracking Section – Helps you understand your healthy range based on your height
- Goal Progress Indicator – Shows how far you are from your goal weight
- Clean Weekly / Daily Logging – Enter weight as often as you prefer
- Automatic Calculations – No manual maths needed, everything updates instantly
- Motivation-Friendly Layout – Designed to be simple, not overwhelming
Why I built it this way
A lot of weight trackers get too complicated or try to do everything at once. I wanted something that:
- doesn’t confuse users with too many numbers
- keeps charts easy to read
- works whether you weigh yourself daily or weekly
- feels more like a progress view, not a data sheet
You just enter your weight, and the tracker does the rest.
