Traveling through India is truly an incredible adventure!
During our epic tour of India across 6 different states from December 2023 to January 2024, we mostly got around in a 4-wheel SUV with a private driver. To cover more ground and explore various states and regions, we also took five internal flights and two train journeys, picking up a new driver and vehicle at each destination. This approach allowed us to see a broader slice of the country within a limited time frame.
Our journey took us over a mix of roads from bustling, heavily trafficked roads to narrow, winding local paths, we experienced the whole range.
One memorable stretch that I absolutely loved was the drive from Pushkar to Jaipur via the main national highway. This was where massive trucks were the stars of the show. We found ourselves caught in a huge truck traffic jam, which gave us the chance to relax and enjoy the vibrant chaos around us. It was a great opportunity to snap some photos of the diverse and colourful transport on the Indian highways.
Enjoy the pictures that capture this fascinating part of our trip!
