I made this mosaics for a gift and decided to use a beanbag tray as a base. This made it functional as well artistic, the true meaning of handicraft.
The progress flowed easily and it took on a life of its own although the technique used for the water is not my favorite…not symmetrical enough for my rigid eye. But I think it worked okay.
