I made a creamy potato and pasta bake to have with dinner tonight, it’s easy to make. It is also a great dish to take for a pot luck dinner, hearty, hot and warming and whips up in a jiffy.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups potatoes, cubed
- 2 cups dried pasta
- 150 grams butter
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- salt & pepper
Method:
Boil pasta and potatoes together until tender, drain.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a large frying pan and add onions and garlic, cook for a few minutes.
Stir in cream, milk, cheeses, cooked potatoes & pasta.
Pour all into a large baking dish and bake at 200°C until crispy on top.
