I want to share an amazing story from our recent family trip to Ranthambore, Rajasthan. It was December 25th, 2023 Christmas Day – a chilly morning with sunlight peeking through the trees, and Basker, our daughter Nisha, and I were all set for our safari adventure.
As we drove through the rugged landscape, we kept our eyes peeled for wildlife. And then, out of nowhere, we saw it – a flash of orange and black amidst the greenery. Can you guess what it was? That’s right, a majestic Bengal tiger, right there in its natural habitat!
Seeing the tiger took us by surprise. One moment, we were enjoying the scenery, and the next, we were face-to-face with this incredible creature. It was such an exhilarating moment!
Of course, our first thought was to capture it on camera. But tigers are quick! By the time we grabbed our cameras, our striped friend had already decided to move on. While we missed the perfect shot, but what we gained was far more special – a memory we’ll cherish forever.
Although we couldn’t snap a photo, trust me, the encounter was unforgettable. It reminded us how amazing our planet is and how fortunate we are to share it with such magnificent animals.
