Nothing says summer like the sweet, juicy taste of fresh strawberries and blueberries! Pick your own and enjoy the taste of sunshine. ☀️😋
One of our favourite spots this time of year is Good Planet—a fantastic place to pick the plumpest, juiciest berries in a fun, family-friendly setting. Just grab a bucket and start filling it with your hand-picked goodies!
📍 Location: 340 Riverhead Road, Riverhead, Auckland
There’s a huge parking area makes visiting easy, and the kids will love the playground and little train that takes you to the vast strawberry fields. After picking, you can treat yourself to fresh fruit ice cream from the shop or enjoy a meal at the café. With plenty of spots to sit—either at tables or on the grass—it’s the perfect place to relax with a delicious strawberry ice cream in hand. And for those with little ones, the Adventure Park & Splash Park will keep them entertained for hours!

When we visited, we managed to pick 3kg of strawberries and 1kg of blueberries—unfortunately, the raspberries and blackberries had finished for the season. But no complaints here! We came home with our haul and did the only logical thing… whipped up a batch of strawberry margaritas, of course!
