Unisex Beanie Hat | Crochet Hat

Crochet Hat

I had some yarn left over from a previous project so this was a great way to use it up.

The pattern is slightly different with two bands of ribbing but it is just as nice.

I like the way the yarn makes up into a soft and drapey texture, lovely to work with and lovely to wear.

Pattern

The simple pattern is as follows:

Yarn

  • I used Alpaca Yarns Inca Spun Tweed 10ply Worsted, available here
  • Inca Spun Tweed is a lovely soft and versatile 10 ply weight yarn which can be used in both garments, accessories and blankets. Lovely tweed palette for the young and old alike.
  • Fibre: 40% Alpaca, 40% Merino, 20% Donegal Tweed
    Weight: 10 ply / Worsted
    Texture: Tweed
    Yardage: 100m per 50g balls

Quantity

  • I used 1.5 x 50g ball

Crochet Hook

  • I used size 6.5mm crochet hook
